The channel

An early golf retailer needed to turn a small catalog business into a serious, profitable online revenue channel. As Director of Global E-Commerce, I built the e-commerce, business-development, advertising, and marketing capabilities and grew GolfDiscount.com from $1.2M to $9M in sales at a profit in the first year.

The PGA Tour deal

I structured the deal that made GolfDiscount the first official e-commerce partner for the world’s top professional golf tour — the PGA Tour Superstore — a new global proshop model built from the ground up, from call handling to fulfillment under the PGA Tour brand. The business drew a $57M acquisition offer from CBS Sportsline.
